StepBud is a MIDI Sequencer integrated with Audio Unit AUv3 plugin, Audiobus, and Ableton Link. It allows users to add an unlimited number of steps to their sequencer. Each step is represented by an LED and a fader for easy control.
Users have the flexibility to adjust various parameters for each step, such as note/chord selection within the chosen key and scale, velocity, gate time, modulation, pitch bend, portamento, probability, and swing. Compatibility necessitates an iOS 11+ device and an Audio Unit host application like AUM, apeMatrix, Cubasis, BeatMaker, or Audiobus when utilizing StepBud as an Audio Unit plugin. Proper MIDI out routing to the intended app or audio unit is crucial for seamless operation.
